In a few weeks we will be going on a cruise. I am trying to pick out an excursion for us to participate in on one of the Islands.
There are so many exciting things to do like going to a place called Butterflies Galore or going on a high speed boat that will get you soaking wet making 180 degree turns thus making you puke. (really)
What to do....what to do.
So upon perusing all the choices, I came across this one....
ZT01 - Scuba Dive With Equipment
PRICE: ADULT: 119.00 / CHILD: 119.00 USD
DURATION: 4 Hours Approx.
OR
ZT02 - Scuba Dive Without Equipment
PRICE: ADULT: 109.00 / CHILD: 109.00 USD
DURATION: 4 Hours Approx.
Now I'm no diving expert, I can't even open my eyes under water, but I do know that in order to Scuba Dive YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOME SORT OF EQUIPMENT!!!
(Don't you?)

Oh my! Or sounds like they use cheap equipment. Maybe people bring their own? Either way, I think I'd choose the butterflies galore. Bet you're gonna have fun on your cruise though. ~Lili
I'd much rather see the butterflies - and as for scuba diving with, or without - I say butterflies!!! LOL
Have a grand time!
I tried scuba diving once. I got claustraphobic under water and went rushing to the surface. Luckily I wasn learning in water just a little over waist deep. That was my only experience. I smim, both above and under water, but I just didn't like the mask and mouthpiece...claustrophobia somehow1
Butterflies win hands down. Have a great time...We'll be waiting for your fun posts when you return.

Butterflies = beautiful photos that perhaps would transfer into amazing paintings.... scuba diving = vast darkness with who knows what lurking out of sight... I am a good swimmer but open sea swimming gives me the heebee geebee's.... lol
have a wonderful time... one day I want to do an alaskan cruise... better get a shift on I suppose before all the ice has melted! ;D

Ditch the scuba diving - my vote is that the two of you go parasailing! It's a lot of fun and you get a bird' eye view of everything - wouldn't Birdman like that?
Is snorkeling an option?
Scuba anything is way to dangerous for me. I'm all for the Butterfly thing.
Hugs, Kathleen
That's for if you have your own and don't need to rent... I say chuck the excursion and buy a darn good bottle of wine and relax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i went to the butterfly place and it was pretty boring. i think i'd scuba dive without equipment and see what happens when you try to breathe...

I'm wondering if that's for equipment they provide? Hmmm, either way, nice catch.
I'm too much of a chicken to scuba dive, although both of my parents are certified SCUBA divers and were instructors at one point, eons ago.
BTW, your paintings are making me achingly homesick. I'm so tempted to load up Gaby and just go home and camp out in our nearly empty house, with no electricity. At least there's water though.
Hug the coastline for me.
