Snow day.....

It was bound to happen. The first snow day.

Sequestered inside, forced to drink tea and listen to Christmas music and the crackle of the fire in the woodstove. Making a list and checking it twice.

Admiring my 10 year old french fry from DiMillos restaurant relegated to be an ornament.
Mr. Downeastdoingstuff thinks it's stupid.
It's my favorite decoration on the tree.

I had to glue Joseph's head back on today. Mary and the baby were glad to see this after living with headless Joe for 4 days.

I think what makes the French fry guy stupid is the pricelessly dumb expression on his face. By the way, didn't I 'accidentally'(on purpose) throw that into the compost last January??? Thought I did. I wonder what it would taste like(10 years in) with some ketchup and a Christmas burger?

I chuckle at the french fry ornament, but completely "get it". We all have our treasures... mine is my 20 year old Hallmark Christmas Mistletoad pin.

(by the way, where is that?)

What a lovely snow day - lovely that it is at your house. We are in the deep freeze, but at least it is not snowing. Good day to paint a picture.

hahahaha! That was me mumbling to myself out loud trying to remember where my Christmas frog pin was... I'm silly!

Got to say, El, I'm with Mr. Downeastdoingstuff on Monsieur French Fry. I'm thinking I'll never touch another DiMillo fry if this is what they look like ten years after being served. I'm loving the snowy pictures and the snowy blog, though.

Hi Elenka..we are getting blasted with snow here in the shadow of Mt Katahdin. I am loving it! I always love snow before Christmas, it's after that becomes a problem. I think I know how Mary felt, my husband hardly ever has his head on, and when he does, it usually isn't on striaght. Love the course, Plastic 101, I learned a lot. Enjoy the evening with hot cocoa, more music, and more warm fuzziness. Hugs, Kathleen

You are so funny....I cracked up about the holy family being glad Joseph has his head back! Bwahaha!
Your tree is LOVELY and so is your yard full of snow! We got snow and then the nasty rain came and chased it away. North of us a couple of hours they got 8 inches, and I am jealous! Ü
XOXO

I just left you a message and it was captured and taken into cyberspace somehow?? Anyway...I will try again! I was just saying I also love the cute and funky ornaments and especially the ones my kids made when they were little. They still go on the tree! Merry Christmas to you and your family! Do you sell your artwork or showcase it anywhere?

I have an alligator dressed in a Santa suit. He sits under my little tree with fancy crystal ornaments.
Love your new "snow" feature.
