LAST DAY.......

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL TOMORROW !!

Yes, it’s true. Teachers are JUST as excited by summer vacation starting as the kids are! Yes, it’s true....teachers are people, too !

I know kids don’t think so. I am always amazed at the look of wonder when I run into a student at the mall and they look at me, like thinking, ‘what are YOU doing here????”  Oh, that’s right.  I’m never supposed to leave my classroom.....I forgot !I Just sleep with the crayons at night.  Right next to Midnight Blue.

But tomorrow IS the last day. This past Wednesday at 11:30 was my last day with the sweet little cherubs...but tomorrow is it for ME.  As much as I LOVE teaching, and I DO, all I have to say about tomorrow is....

YIPPPEEEE !

Hip..Hip...Hooray!! Boy can I relate to that! We work at a Montesouri school and we are on semi vacation right now! I absolutely LOVE it! Isn't that funny how the kids think that when they see you in public...like you are super human or something? Well...you ARE aren't you??? Ha ha....Enjoy the summer and I am so happy you are on HOLIDAY!! Yay...yay..:)

Another two weeks for me then I will be Yipeeeing too! Not only do I remember being suprised to see teachers out of school when I was a little child, but I found it incomprehensible that one would have a teacher for a mother or wife. How horrible would that be, I thought.Do they actually go home and cook dinner and tuck their children in? Now I have morphed into that strange creature. My daughter, 25, seems to have survived the experience.
