We went to a bird/water festival in Blaine - up near the Canadian border - today . It was rainy and windy and cold - yet we persisted - took the little boat ride - ate our picnic at the marina, under a shelter while it rained and blew - and then we came home and had hot showers and hot tea. I want my spring back,
Well, what did you expect of a 'spring break'. This was a little 'break' from spring. But the little tulips and irises and the golden forsythia will soon have their day in the sun again, you'll see. This, of course, is easy for me to say. We didn't get any snow down here in Brattleboro.

This is only a temporary setback to spring, but unfortunately the weather for your vacation is looking to be mostly wet!
Oh darn, we missed it. Gotta love spring break! ~Lili

At least it melted by today. My forsythia looked just like that. Today's grey isn't any better. Sigh.
Oh, no! That forsythia is still beautiful. Enjoy your break...

Hope it melted fast! Yikes, what a spring.
Yep, I still haven't taken the snow melt and put the bags in the shed...but I did take the insulated caps off the hose bibs...too hopeful?
