My Sunday Picture....on Monday....

The first Rhododendron flower to open up......I'm loving this.

My poor 'baby' (22 year old) has severe Mono! I've never seen anyone so sick.
Hopefully the 254 new pills he got and the IV saline solutions that were administered will get him on the mend. I hear it's going to be a long haul. At least he's not puking anymore....
Hence, the late Sunday Picture.
It's so hard to watch your child be sick.......

OH MY! I hope your son gets better! My poor baby (24!!) had minor surgery on his leg Friday afternoon, but did quite well and is now back at work. It's amazing how these kids can bounce back. I'm sure your son will surprise you, too! Best wishes!

Sending get well wishes to your son. The Rhododendron looks beautiful. I always had trouble growing these, resorted to putting them in pots- still no luck. Everything else in the garden thrived. These and azaleas gave me grief, even though I used the specialized potting mix specifically for these plants. Won't go on - I sound like a caller on the radio Gardening program.xx

I hope your boy has a speedy recovery. Mono can really make you feel like "crap" Excuse the word, but it's the only description I can think of.

so sorry to hear about your son. My daughter had mono a few years ago while she was in college. She had to take a whole semester off - it takes months to recover from mono. I pray your son will bounce back quicker.

Elenka....I am so sorry your boy is sick.:( They are always our children aren't they? No matter what age. I hope the saline and the 254 pills work and he is on the mend sooner than later. It's hard when your babies are ill. I will say a special prayer for him. My "baby boy" turned 25 on Sunday (May 31) and I can hardly believe it! Thanks for stopping by my cousins (Island Paradise)...she is out of the blogging mode right now...I'm trying to give her a gentle push!

That's the third young person I've heard of with mono. It must be the time of year, maybe? Both of them were much improved after a few days on the meds. Mono sucks, and I hope he feels better soon!
