Yeah, that's me in the middle on my first birthday. That's about the look I have on my face whenever I count the candles on my birthday cake. Actually, these days, it's an even more perplexed look.
Where does the time go?
So, today, Mom, you are 90 years old. You have no idea how thrilled I am to be able to celebrate this milestone with you, even though it's over the miles. The love I feel for you I could never express. The thankfulness I feel, for everything you've ever done for me, is equally difficult to put into words.
All I can say is that I love you beyond words and thank you from the bottom of my heart......for everything.
So, have a great day, Mommy. This family loves you and wishes you much health and happiness.
AND, I will see you in 3 weeks!!!!!!!!

A beautiful tribute to a wonderful woman. How proud she must be to have you for a daughter, E. How fortunate you both are to still have each other. Have a wonderful visit in three weeks. And Mom...have a wonderful birthday!
Happy birhtday Mom!
Happy Birthday wishes to you Anna! We love you!
?What a wonderful birthday wish - you are so fortunate to have your mother with you - and to have had such a grand relationship all these years.
You are both beautiful ladies.
I wish my Mom had made it to age 90. How fortunate you both are!
Happy Birthday Anna. Wishing you well from Oregon!
Hi Elenka, I hopped over here from Deb Shucka's comment string. The reason? Your cat!!! Reminds me of my delightfully adolescent Maine Coon boy. Loved this post. Entertaining and sentimental all at once. Happy birthday (belated) to your mom.
Happy belated! You are sooo blessed to still have your beautiful, sweet mom...
What a beautiful woman! And such a lovely tribute to her. Sending your mom the very best of birthday wishes. I hope you have a wonderful visit with each other.
Hi Elenka....what a great post! How sweet is your mom! Are you Slovakian? Did I miss that post somehow? The mystery deepens....you are full of surprises. Happy birthday to your mom! My husband's B-day is Monday, April 4th and a big surprise 50th party was planned for today (Sunday the 3rd) and he got a terrible flu! I had to cancel the whole thing yesterday. Arggg! Oh well...whadaya gonna do! So glad you have your mom in your life still. Lucky girl.
I am behind, as always, with visiting and commenting--I am going to use that extra 3 hours a week I have been putting in getting my basement back in order, trying to keep up with the blogs I love better...
This is a lovely, warm post and you can see the love going back and forth--no matter that it is across the miles...
Oh I loved seeing the pictures of you and your parents and the one of your beautiful Mom in present day too. How come we never get to see one of you in present day? I hope you have a wonderful upcoming visit with your Mom. Happy belated birthday wishes to your dear Mom! ~Lili
