When you go to the first ever in Maine Trader Joe's Grand Opening. That's when.
My frozen food I attempted to purchase, thawed and cooked itself before I was able to check out.
Sooo, my question to you.....Do you like Trader Joe's?
What do you like there?
i have never been in one but if there were one here i'd try to go...

I'm looking forward to getting up there to Trader Joe's, but guess I'll wait until the newness wears off. I am still a Whole Foods fan also.......love all of the gluten free items at both places. Wish they were down here in Wells!

I've never been to Trader Joe's; after reading your post, I guess I'll wait a week or so!
ReplyDeletelove, love, love the Joe's. Why? everything is so fresh, you can find new and intersting things, they have the best produce ever. We are so far away from a TJ that I rarely get to go, I sure wouldn't do it on opening day!!! silly girl.
ReplyDeleteNo T.J. within easy striking distance of Brattleboro.
ReplyDeleteAlas, we have no Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. I would think that the town we shop in, 45 min away, would be big enough to support one, but I'll have to be patient and wait. My friends go there all the time and love it. Balisha
ReplyDeleteHi Elenka! Sorry I have not been by lately. I just got caught up though. What a nice trip you took....beautiful B&B you stayed at and I loved the quaint little shops. Trader Joes I have heard of and seen their bags but never been. I have a vegetarian friend that goes all the time...Whole Foods and TJ's are her favorites. Now that you have linked us to it in this blog and I went there via that link, I am going to have to go!! Marginal Way....here I come! Well...before xmas anyway....very cool....thanks for sharing. How come we never see a photo of YOU!! Many of birdman/Mr. DEDS but not YOU???

ReplyDeletehahahaha.
Trader Joe's: there isn't one near us, but our daughter in D.C. loves it.
I love Trader Joes. Their prices are excellent and their ethnic foods spot on for taste and spices. And they carry my favorite inexpensive wine, Casal Garcia Vino Verde. I can heartily recommend their: vegetable samosas, chutneys, tzatziki dip and now carry an ice chest when I go there...
