The flowers behind the cup settling in next to the Christmas Poinsettia.
Many cards and food from family and friends.
THIS ring was around my neck. If Mr. Downeastdoingstuff couldn't wear it, (for the first time since we were married) then I was going to wear it. And I did. Along with the heart locket he gave me a long time ago. (which houses a photo of my son when he was little, and it used to have a picture of Mr. Downeastdoingstuff at one time, but he fell out....)

ReplyDeleteGlad Mr. DEDS is getting out and about....today was sunny here, it was hard to NOT go out. SO I gave in and went out and thoroughly enjoyed the warmth (30 degrees!!!) and sunshine!

That heart is almost as big as the real one beating nicely away in Birdman's chest. Mr. Brattcat sends his fondest get-well-quick wishes.
ReplyDeleteHurray for an outing. Hurray for that wonderful heart pillow. Hurray for the ring on your ribbon. Hurray for the ring back home where it belongs. Hurray for hurrays - so glad he is able to get out so soon. Don's first outing was a week after getting home - to go to the clinic for coumadin check.

So did he get to stay in the car while you went shopping? That's what happens at our house. Glad to see steady progress!

whew.... had to fast track to the top posting.....
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad all is well and he is looking and feeling much better. The heart pillow is a great idea for the ribs hurting when coughing. I'll have to remember that one. I have some damaged tissue over some ribs on my left side and every so often...they get torn or wrecked again and man, it hurts to sneeze or cough. Next time will see me hugging a pillow!
I'm so happy for the two of you Elenka... thanks for stopping by my blog in the mids of all you are going through....hugs to you....
What an ordeal the two of you have been through. I'm so glad hubby is recovering well and you're back home to resume life. You must feel such relief.

ReplyDeleteHeartwarming (big smile) post...yes, that last photo tells it all!
