That picture looks exactly like a pond near here - but to get to that pond you have to climb a mountainside - and I mean climb. Most of the time you are able to touch the path in front of you without bending down - it is that steep. We went up once that way - then the second time Don went up that way and I came down from a different direction after being let out at the head of the trail. I doubt that we will do it again - but at least we have the photos - and one time when Don went up by himself he saw a bald eagle rise up not 10 feet away and circle the pond. Your photo brought back great memories.
Its strange, but some images of places don't touch your soul and you feel like you have absolutely no conection to them... that picture made me a shiver run down my spine don't get me wrong we have some beautiful English landscapes around here but which I appreciate every day, but I have only found a couple that make me feel conected to my surroundings... does that make sense?
